Hi! I’m Sally, I’m 32 years old and I live with my partner Andy
and our son Harris who is nearly 3.
You can see more of us on my blog (well the boys mainly... I must
hand Andy the camera more often!)
My blog is less static than my website and offers you the chance to
get to know a little more about me
and see my most recent work. My background in photography is a first
class BA (Hons) degree in
photography from Derby University in 2001 and my experience working
as a photographer in a
commercial studio and managing a portrait business, I now run my own
photographic business
shooting weddings and portraits. (Don’t forget I shoot boudoir
sessions that make a great wedding
day gift!)
I have always been a very creative person and when I discovered
photography I fell in love with an
amazing way to capture the world we live in, people and moments. I
love creating beautiful images,
especially those filled with true emotion from real moments and
capturing those split seconds forever.
This is why I photograph weddings - they are filled with such strong
emotions and are one of the
most memorable days for you. It is so special to have this important
time of your life captured for
you and your family for years to come. So many brides say to me
after their wedding that they
couldn’t believe how quickly it went and are amazed at the moments
captured that were forgotten in
all the excitement of the day. I also capture all those little
details you spent so long planning - the
flowers, the table decor, the venues, and all the touches that make
your day unique. Every wedding
is unique and each one has a different feel - I like to bring that
into your images to make them that
much more special.
I record your day with a combination or reportage shots of you and
your guests, the great shots we
we will capture of you as a couple and the more formal group shots.
I work with a second
photographer so that both of you; the bride and groom, are captured
preparing for your big day and
different angles are covered at the ceremony. You also have the
option to have a backdrop and studio
lights at your reception to capture fun group shots of your guests
that can look great in your album
and also ensures that everyone has been captured.
It would be great to meet you both soon and discuss your options in
more depth & answer any
questions you may have.
